What started as an exercise, then morphed into an obsession, became a series. A week and a half into April of 2018, I was looking for inspiration for a new illustration. Glancing at the calendar, I saw it: In a few days it would be Friday the 13th. Impulsively, I decided to paint Jason's iconic hockey mask in black and white acrylic paint, on a 12 x 12" sheet of watercolor paper. Afterwards, I thought "who should I do next?" And started to make a list.
